Again, we don't gamble, so that part of the draw just doesn't apply to us. If we golf there again, we will probably drive to stay in Yankton. That's important, I know, but there's not much for atmosphere. So, if you are there to golf at Tatonka (which is an awesome course), stay there but don't expect anything more than a nice, clean room. (I recommend the saloon in Niobrara- excellent!) The bar is simply a U-shaped bar at one end of the casino it's small and not really a bar with atmosphere. Therefore, we left both times to eat elsewhere. There wasn't a hostess and anyone around in the dining or cafe area to help us. We wanted to grab a quick lunch and later eat supper there, but there aren't any menus around anywhere to even see what we could get. Third, the cafe, lounge, and bar seem to be there but not really. When we checked out, it was the same clerk and the same situation, except we were lucky to only wait 8 minutes. It didn't seem like she was even talking to anyone it was like she was surfing the web and acting like she was busy. She didn't acknowledge us we waited over 13 minutes for her to get off the phone. Both times, there was a clerk on the phone and computer. Second, the check-in and check-out process was seemingly interminable. If I want a beer in my room, I should be able to have one. I'm 50 years old, and I'm paying for the room.

First, we couldn't take alcohol into our rooms. What brings it down to 3 stars for me are the following items. We don't gamble, so I can't say anything about the casino other than there are only slots there. I think they are still working on things, which is ok. The housekeeping staff was super quick to get us extra towels and wash clothes. The pool and jacuzzi are also super clean. This hotel is extremely clean and pretty. We stayed because we were golfing at Tatonka, which is next to the hotel/casino.
